"What a fantastic week. Beaux Cieux had something for each of us. The remote location is stunning, very peaceful and teaming with wildlife. The children loved the swimming pool, table tennis and the trampoline especially, and there was plenty to keep them occupied. The house has been beautifully restored and is lovely and cool even when it's 30 degrees outside. The sunsets and the star lit skies are wonderful, particularly with a glass of Bordeaux in hand! Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family holiday."

"We enjoyed a super holiday at Beaux-Cieux. The kids have loved the garden and all the activities within. The house is beautiful and it was nice to have plenty of room. (...) We took trips to Bayonne, Biarritz, Pau, Agen and San Sebastian. Locally, there are good restaurants in Saint-Justin and Labastide (both are beautiful places to visit). The supermarket (U) is well stocked with local produce. Thanks for letting us stay for a wonderful holiday."

"The house is very equipped with everything you could possibly need (...) Our children really enjoyed the pool and all the toys and books in the house and we also enjoyed exploring the local area. We would recommend the local market in Eauze on Thursday mornings, which is HUGE, the lac de l'Uby (...), Labastide which is beautiful with an ice-cream parlour and an interesting brocante and Barbotan. Super U is a great supermarket and bread from the bakers in Créon is fantastic. Merci beaucoup! "

"Perfect location in beautiful rural France, super home as that is what it is, no 'holiday rental" here! We had a fantastic holiday. (...) We loved Barbotan for free wifi in the Tourist Information, and found the staff very helpful. We enjoyed Bazas - inspired by the picture in the dining area. We visited Lourdes and were not disappointed (in fact we went back) and included a most interesting journey through the Pyrénées - so majestic. If that was not enough, we also had time in the pool and exploring many of the local villages. A true Holiday! "

"We have had a wonderful time staying here and a week doesn't seem long enough, there is still so much we haven't got round to doing. The kids loved playing with all the toys and reading the books, it really feels like a home away from home. We have also spent loads of time in the pool and on the trampoline as well as using the outdoor games. The kids loved the big screen too. (...) The house is so well-equipped, it was a lovely place to stay, we hope to come agin one day ... and stay for longer! "

"(...) Saw lots of wildlife in the garden, including deer and lizards. (...) Wonderful village location, very peaceful and great for playing hide-and-seek in at night! Recommended place to visit is la Ferme aux Cerfs in Le Houga. (...) We love the house and don't think the photos online do it justice. Need to be here to get the Wow factor to see how good it really is. It is so spacious with a nice decor and we made good use of your library with your great variety of books. We had a fabulous time here. Thank you. "

"The house has been a pleasure to stay in. It is a so well equipped and has plenty to occupy our 2 girls. They loved the pool, zip-line and trampoline. We also enjoyed playing boules, swingball and table tennis. We saw a number of dears in the fields nearby. (...) Thanks for letting us stay!! "

"One of the best equipped holiday houses we have ever been! The decorator deserves many compliments, great eye for detail. We love the Armagnac region even more now, French countryside at tis best. We kept ourselves busy with the pool of course but also with day-trips in the area. We loved the little village of Fourcès, worth a stop on your way to Laressingle. The recommended beach in Mimozan is worth the drive. We hope to come back to discover more of the region."

"We had a fantastic stay here and loved the house. The pool and gardens were lovely and the bedrooms were very clean. We did a lot of activities recommended and found them very useful - I especially enjoyed the nature trail. We have enjoyed looking for wild boars but sadly we haven't seen any! But we have seen 2 badgers, deer, and many lizzards. We had a movely stay and the weather was perfect, I hope to come here again. (...) We had a wonderful week in you wonderful house and have made good use of the pool and gardens. We have enjoyed some very nice walks in the surrounding area, and managed a trip to the beach which was a great day out."

"We had a very relaxing stay: eating, drinking and doing very little. Most of the local restaurants are closed in the evening and we had to travel to Mont-de-Marsan and Roquefort for a meal out. We can recommend the Café de la Paix over the bridge at Roquefort, La Madre for goos pizzas and excellent tagliatelli carbonara, and Le Donjon for lunch, both in Mont-de-Marsan. Canoeing in Roquefort was great fun; beautiful dragonflies. (...) The house was extremely well equipped - Thank you! (...) Had the most amazing thunderstorm that came from nothing. Very relaxing holiday with very quiet surroundings - we slept in the white double-bed, not quite a double! (...) Feel the photographs on the web do not do this place justice. It was a lovely surprise on arrival to find such a beautiful house with most of all our needs. A little lighting on the terrace would be helpful as we enjoyed manu evnings playing cards."

"Two great weeks were had in this house. All the equipment was top quality and well-used, as was the pool. The information on local walks war very useful and I would recommend the round trail to Mauvezin. Further afield, we had a great day at Lac de l'Uby, Biarritz and Mimizan (Mimizan was the kids's favourite). Also had a lovely meal at Creperie in Labastide and a few great meals at Barbotan."
